Thank you for choosing Shutter Up And Vote for your picture voting fun! There are a few rules like any other voting system. The first is there are only 3 categories for the images with the ability to be voted on. Those three categories are Great Lakes Freighters, Iconic pictures in sports, and sunrise or sunset photos. The pictures need to be under 1mb in size. This is just for compliance with the local web server being used. Let your creative minds flow and pick some amazing photos. Please no explicit photos—this is for a college assignment.
Category 1 Boats of the GREAT LAKES! I dont want to see a picture from your last carnival cruise or the Titanic! Ok and please not the Edmund Fitzgerald there is more great lakes freighters than that one. I understand it most people know it due to the shipwreck. But,there is way better looking and better images of other Freighters. Be unique and different if you do not know of other ones reasearch it. Honestly I could think of a handful of ships with a more aesthetics. If you have a great image but it does not fit,use a free image resizer — here is one I recommend:Image Resizer.
Category 2 My favorite of the categories an iconic sport image. It does not have to be from detroit sports. That just happens to be my favorite. There are so many great sports photos this should be less difficult than the great lakes freighters. I could think of a few great ones like Michael Jordan and the shot or numerous ones of the New England Patriots dynasty pictures that would be amazing. However, I am a big Detroit Sports fan so I would love to see some iconic ones I have never seen before.
Catgory 3 Sunrise and sunset let me see your personal iconic moment. Also this assignment made me realize how difficult it is to tell from a photo if its sunrise or sunset. I know the sunrises from the east the problem is I do not know which compass direction the photo is taken from. If anyone has any helpful tips please add in the email when submiting the photo. It does not need to be a beach setting like the photo above. City sunets or wooded sunrises are just as great as a beach.
