The Inspiration

The Inspiration

The Jax in Trax!

Jaxson is the inspiration for the idea, and as a parent with a son with autism, they push you to use your brain differently. Gates loved programming and founded Microsoft, and Musk is obsessed with space exploration. Now we have SpaceX. I love my son, and I want mine and his legacy to be Jax-Trax. One thing we all have in common is that we love tech, and with tech, nothing is impossible. At one point, it was all a dream for Musk, Gates, Zuckerberg, but for me, my unwavering work ethic and drive, I will leave my mark on this world with Jax-Trax.

Not About Why But How?

Autism is a hot-button subject in the world and politics. The biggest concern is how autism is becoming so severe. We all have our theories about vaccines, food, and parenting, but for me, the question is how to make parents' and loved ones' lives easier. I'm an advocate of helping autism, not pointing fingers as to why, or using it to push an agenda. How can I make Jaxson’s life better and the lives of other kids and adults better? That is the main goal of this website, not money, not fame, but support for loved ones and people with special needs all over the world.

Tech-Tism Is Not The First

Location Tech

Location For Special Needs

Location technology for special needs has been around for years. However, what happens if the device or tracker is not with the person for loved ones to locate? That is the disadvantage of an app like Angel Sense; it is good in theory. You must ensure that the client is always attached to the tracking device. I know my son will resist anything like bracelets, and he is also very curious about any new device he sees. I think this is a piece of the puzzle, but it could also be a potential partnership for the future.

Identifcation=Location

The advantage of the human face over tracking location. No matter what, anyone with special needs who is lost or has eloped has one thing in common. They must take their face with them, and that is the missing piece of the Angel Sense technology. No matter what, if a parent is subscribed to Jax-Trax and has a profile for their loved one, a face scan by anyone can at least provide the name of the person, dispatch to 911, and contact information for their family member. Jax-Trax is the next step to make parents like me feel safer.

Words With Tech

AAC Device Success

Well there is a brief description of an AAC. One of the first inspirations for this idea I seen as a parent with an autistic son. Can you believe at one time I was apprehensive to this device as a parent. My whole life I loved evryting tech from the Commodore 64, Super Nintendo, Playstaion, dvd, vhs, and so much more. But, like most parents with someone with special needs we want are child to be normal, or neurotypical so badly. I want my son to use his words not a tablet. Then it hits you why would I keep his words away do you keep insulin from a diabetic or an EpiPen from some one having an alergic reaction. When it comes to Special needs every tool you have at your disposal is a necessary resource. What would you know a few years later I am debating if I still consider my son non-verbal. Does he say much no not really. But,as he would say "buhh buye" I think I can say the same to the non-verbal diagnosis.

Modeling the Tech For Success

Now if you did not know what an AAC device was now you got an idea. Now the biggeest help when it comes to this is modeling. One of the first hurdles I had to get over when Jaxson started using a talker we call it at my house. Is just as important for Jaxson to use the icons as it is for me to model the icons he selects. Usually imitating the the selction Jaxson makes if he selects milk you enunciate the words and try to get him to repeat. Were about two years in with the talker and now we do get some basic words. But, we tend to get more of the words Jaxson likes pop, mickey mouse, popsicle, hungry, it may not seem like much but for Jaxson it is precious and brings tears to my eyes to hear his voice. Below is a little audio clip of me and him using the deivce.

About The Company

Tech-Tism A Tech Company For Special Needs

Creation Through Chaos

Tech-Tism is a company created by Raymond Bawal III, but inspired by Jaxson Bawal, my son. The goal is to revolutionize the world for Individuals with Autism and special needs, with the creation of the first app, named Jax-Trax. It will be an app that will help locate the loved ones of someone with autism or special needs. My son eloped from home in 2022, and the only way the police located his house was that he left the door open. The fear I would have had in the morning if he had shut the door. Jaxson is nonverbal and would not have been able to communicate his home address to the officers. Jax-Trax is here to eliminate that problem with a state-of-the-art app featuring facial recognition to locate someone's loved ones.

Jax-Trax Id Options

Jax-Trax will have two primary forms of identification for individuals with special needs. The first will be facial recognition, where you scan their face, put in their home addresses, allergies, disabilities, and parent contact information. Law enforcement will be the only ones with the complete profile. Alternatively, the secondary option is to have the same information attached to a QR code, which will be assigned to each person in the database. Then you can purchase an iron-on QR code to place on the individual's clothing for a secondary identification. Sometimes getting an autistic child's face scan can be a little too difficult and stressful, that’s why I like the second option for Jaxson, my son.
